What is Noteworthy Music and Social Media?

Growing up I had an evident love for music, I played a few different instruments in a variety of ensembles throughout middle and high school, as well as listening intently to a variety of music. One career path that has always interested me is social media management, and I would love to be able to combine this with my love of music. I started this blog in order to share my perspectives on music from some of my favorite and popular artists and how they have created a social media presence. This presence is made up of posts from the artists themselves, their labels, and sometimes even their fans. Musicians take to (and stay away from) social media for a variety of reasons, from promotions and celebrations and to controversies and scandals, to what they ate for lunch today. I will be writing two blogs a week that focus on topics like these as well as other aspects of social media within the music industry. Hopefully through these blogs you will find both new music to listen to and new social media figures to keep up with.
